6/24/18 Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for southern Scott county until 9:00pm, 60mph winds and penny size hail are possible. Seek shelter indoors until the storm has passed.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued until 6:15pm for most of Scott county, damaging winds and large hail are possible.

6/22/18 Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 6pm for far northeastern Scott county, winds to 70mph and quarter size hail are possible.

6/22/18 Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued

A new Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued until 11:00pm CDT. Damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes are all possible.

6/22/18 - Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued until 9pm CDT. Be prepared for large hail, damaging winds, and the possibility of an isolated tornado. With already saturated soils in our area, we also need to be prepared for flash flooding to occur as well.

6/19/18 Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 9:30pm, quarter size hail and winds to 60mph are expected. Be prepared to seek shelter indoors if storms impact your area.

6/19/18 Flash Flood Warning Issued

A Flash Flood Warning has been issued until 10:45pm for Scott City. As of 4:45pm more than two inches of rain had fallen in a short amount of time. Please stay off area roadways until the water recedes, and avoid driving through water covered roadways if you MUST be out.

6/19/18 - Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued until 430pm, ping pong ball size hail and 60mph winds possible.

6/19/18 - Flash Flood Watch Issued

The National Weather Service in Dodge City has issued a Flash Flood Watch for our area from 7pm this evening through 7am Wednesday.  Heavy rains with accumulations of 1-3 inches are possible during the late evening and overnight hours.
